Fitch rates Children's Memorial Hospital, Ill., bonds AA-

Fitch Ratings said it assigned an AA- underlying rating to Children's Memorial Hospital, Ill.'s approximately $187 million of outstanding bonds. The outlook is stable.

The bonds consist of $54,725,000 of variable-rate demand revenue bonds, series 2004, issued by Illinois Finance Authority as well as $55,725,000 of variable-rate demand revenue bonds, series 2003 A and B, $62.05 million of variable-rate demand revenue bonds, series 1999B, $3,415,000 of revenue bonds, series 1999A, and $11,685,000 of revenue bonds, series 1993, issued by Illinois Health Facilities Authority.

MBIA, which has an insurer strength rating of AAA, provides insurance for the revenue bonds series 1993. The other bonds are insured by Ambac, which has an insurer strength rating of AA.
