Moody's gives MIG 1/VMIG 1 to Chicago notes

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned an MIG 1/VMIG 1 rating to the Chicago's $70,425,000 of general obligation tender notes, series 2008.

The rating is based on a letter of credit provided by Harris, NA. Harris is currently rated Aa3 for its long-term obligations and Prime-1 for its short-term obligations with stable outlook.

Sale of the notes is set for Feb. 21.
