Moody's gives Carolinas Health Care bond Aa3

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned an Aa3 bond rating to Charlotte-Mecklenburg Hospital Authority's, N.C., doing business as Carolinas HealthCare System, $308 million series 2008A fixed-rate bond issue.

The outlook is stable.

Proceeds will be used to refund the Series 2007I, 2003B, 2005E and 1996 B, C and D bonds.

The notes are expected to price on June 5.
