Charlotte, N.C., to bring $144.39 million COPs Tuesday via Wachovia

New York, Sept. 11 - The city of Charlotte, N.C., is expected to sell $144.39 million in series 2009 certificates of participation on Tuesday, according to a sales calendar.

The COPs (Aa2/AA+/AA) will be sold on a negotiated basis with Wachovia Bank as the lead manager.

The certificates are due 2012 to 2029 with term bonds due 2034 and 2039.

Proceeds will be used to refund the city's outstanding series 2007A commercial paper COPs.
