Charleston County School District, S.C., offers $124.69 million notes

New York, April 18 – The Charleston County School District of South Carolina is set to price $124,685,000 of series 2016 general obligation bond anticipation notes on Tuesday, according to a preliminary official statement.

The offering includes $42,285,000 of series 2016A G.O. BANs, $25.42 million of series 2016B BANs and $56.98 million of series 2016C notes.

The notes (MIG1) will be sold competitively with Public Financial Management Inc. as the financial adviser.

The 2016A notes are due Nov. 4, 2016; the 2016B notes are due May 2, 2017; and the 2016C notes are due May 2, 2017.

Proceeds will be used to pay amounts due to the Charleston Educational Excellence Financing Corp., as well as pay principal and interest on the district’s series 2015B-C BANs.
