Charleston County School District, S.C., preps $67.6 million TANs sale

New York, Oct. 1 - The Charleston County School District of South Carolina plans to price $67.6 million of series 2013 tax anticipation notes on Thursday, according to a notice of sale.

The notes (MIG 1) will be sold competitively with Public Financial Management Inc. as the financial adviser.

The notes are due April 1, 2014.

Proceeds will be used to finance capital improvements for district facilities ahead of the collection of certain taxes in the coming fiscal year.
