Charleston County School District, S.C., to sell $71.3 million of TANs

New York, July 25 - The Charleston County School District of South Carolina plans to price $71.3 million of series 2012 tax anticipation notes on Tuesday, according to a notice of sale.

The notes will be sold competitively with Public Financial Management Inc. as the financial adviser.

The notes are due April 1, 2013.

Proceeds will be used to fund the operational expenses of the district ahead of the collection of ad valorem taxes.
