Fitch affirms Charles Schwab

Fitch Ratings said it affirms the long-term issuer default rating of Charles Schwab Corp. at A, adding that the individual rating is affirmed at B.

The outlook is stable.

Schwab's ratings reflect the company's strong franchise in online brokerage, modest leverage, and overall sound financial position, the agency said.

Affected ratings include Schwab's issuer default rating at A; individual at B; senior unsecured debt at A; short-term issuer default rating at F1; short-term debt at F1; support at 5; and support floor at NF.
