Charlotte, N.C., Sept. 24 - AerCap Holdings NV closed a $74 million issuance of 3.215% fixed-rate notes, according to a company news release.
The notes, which priced on Sept. 20, mature in 2021 and are the company's second issuance guaranteed by the Export Credits Guarantee Department, the United Kingdom's export credit agency.
AerCap said the transaction completes the refinancing of an A330-300 aircraft that was previously financed by export credit agency-guaranteed debt provided by Credit Agricole CIB.
The aircraft was delivered in the fourth quarter of 2009 and has been place on long-term lease.
AerCap is an independent aircraft leasing company based in Amsterdam.
