New Issue: Thailand's AEON Thana prices ¥1.5 billion three-year floaters

Tacoma, Wash., Dec. 17 - AEON Thana Sinsap (Thailand) PCL priced ¥1.5 billion of floating-rate guaranteed debentures, according to a company notice filed with the Stock Exchange of Thailand.

The debentures mature on Dec. 19, 2011 and accrue interest at a rate equal to six-month Japanese yen Tibor.

Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corp., Tokyo is the guarantor of the issue, which will settle on Friday.

The issue represents a portion of the yen-denominated debentures the company has been authorized by shareholders to issue. Shareholders gave their approval at the annual general meeting on June 18.

AEON Thana is a Bangkok-based financial company.
