Deal consists of 5% subordinated promissory notes, five-year warrants

Knoxville, Tenn., June 6 - Aemetis, Inc. subsidiary Aemetis Advanced Fuels Keyes, Inc. completed a $600,000 private placement of 5% subordinated promissory notes on May 31, according to an 8-K filed Wednesday with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The notes are due Dec. 31, 2012 and are guaranteed by Aemetis.
Investors also received five-year warrants for 200,000 shares.
Proceeds will be used for general working capital purposes.
Aemetis is based in Cupertino, Calif., and makes industrial organic chemicals.
