CenterPoint announces additional interest for 2% exchangeable notes

New York, Jan. 22 - CenterPoint Energy Inc. announced that it will pay additional interest on its 2% zero-premium exchangeable subordinated notes due 2029.

The additional interest of $0.1943573 per note will be paid on Feb. 5.

According to a company news release, the amount being distributed was received in connection with the settlement of 2002 AOL Time Warner, Inc. securities and ERISA class action litigation.

CenterPoint is a Houston-based energy delivery company.
