Celanese announces €300 million offering of five-year notes

Portland, Ore., Sept. 8 – Celanese US Holdings LLC announced in a Monday press release that it plans to sell €300 million of senior notes (/BB+/) due 2019.

Deutsche Bank, BofA Merrill Lynch, Citigroup, HSBC, JPMorgan and Royal Bank of Scotland are the joint bookrunners.

Barclays, Commerzbank, Morgan Stanley, MUFG, PNC Capital Markets LLC and SMBC Nikko are the co-managers.

The Dallas-based chemicals company plans to use the proceeds, together with cash on hand, to redeem its 6 5/8% senior notes due 2018.
