Fitch rates Solventum loans, notes BBB-

Fitch Ratings said it assigned an expected BBB- debt rating to Solventum Corp.'s new senior unsecured notes and its new senior unsecured credit facilities.

On Tuesday, Fitch assigned a first-time expected BBB- long-term issuer default rating to Solventum with a stable outlook. 3M Co. is spinning off Solventum.

The proceeds are expected to be used primarily to pay a dividend to 3M.
