S&P rates Catholic Health, Colo., bonds A-1+

Standard & Poor's said it assigned an A-1+ short-term rating to Catholic Health Initiatives, Colo.'s $289.425 million of series 2007A1 to A6 bonds issued by Washington Health Care Facilities Authority.

The rating reflects a mode change to variable-rate demand bonds from auction-rate bonds.

S&P also said it affirmed the AA and AA/A-1+ ratings on about $2.7 billion of long-term bonds issued for Catholic Health Initiatives.

The outlook is stable.
