Fitch studies TVA ratings

Fitch Ratings said it placed its ratings for the Tennessee Valley Authority under criteria observation. The UCO follows the agency revising its criteria for rating government-related entities.

Besides TVA, Fitch said it the new criteria will apply to Caledonia Generating LLC, John Sevier Combined Cycle Generation LLC and Southhaven Combined Cycle Generation LLC.

Fitch said it will review all the ratings designated as UCO as soon as practicable, but no later than six months from the criteria’s release date.
