Czech Republic’s EPH wraps roadshow, plans five-year benchmark bonds

Chicago, Oct. 18 – Energeticky a prumyslovy holding, as concluded its roadshow on Tuesday and is preparing a five-year benchmark bond deal (BBB-/BBB-) in an inaugural offering, according to a market source.

Over 100 investors participated in the roadshow. Feedback from investors puts the offering potentially in the high 200 basis points to very low 300 bps over mid-swaps.

The energy company will be working to limit using coal as a primary source of generation by 2030.

Proceeds from the bonds will be used for general corporate purposes, with the exclusion of coal power generation or mining activities.

Based in Prague, EPH is focused on the energy sector in Europe. The company was founded in 2009.
