Moody’s assigns Ba3 to Baytree notes

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned a Ba3 senior unsecured foreign-currency debt rating to the U.S. dollar-denominated loan participation notes to be issued on a limited recourse basis by Baytree Global Investments Sarl, a special purpose vehicle, established for the sole purpose of financing a senior unsecured loan to Agrobank. The maturity, the size and the pricing of the notes are subject to market conditions during placement.

“The Ba3 rating assigned to the notes is in line with Agrobank's Ba3 long-term foreign-currency bank deposit rating. The rating assigned to the LPNs is based on the fundamental credit quality of Agrobank, the ultimate obligor under the transaction,” Moody’s said in a press release.

The outlook is stable.
