CastleOak adds John Matsikoudis to municipal underwriting department

Norfolk, Va., April 14 - CastleOak Securities, LP announced the appointment of John Matsikoudis as managing director and head of the municipal underwriting department, according to a press release.

He will be responsible for leading the municipal sales and trading efforts and will report to David R. Jones, president and chief executive officer.

"Expanding our municipal sales and trading team is a continuing and primary goal for CastleOak," Jones said in the release.

"I am confident that John's deep market knowledge, experience and relationships will contribute to the continuing expansion of our business and underscores our commitment to our institutional clients."

Matsikoudis recently served as senior underwriter at Loop Capital Markets. Earlier, he was a trader at CIBC and PaineWebber.

CastleOak is an investment bank based in New York.
