Mercy Iowa City reports $11.19 million net profit for December

Olympia, Wash., Jan. 24 – Mercy Iowa City recorded a $11.19 million net profit for December on $17.69 million gross income/sales, according to its monthly operating report filed Wednesday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Iowa.

The cash balance at the end of the month was $10.63 million.

The Iowa City-based hospital filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy on Aug. 7 under case number 23-00623.
