Oman’s Mazoon Electricity changes name to Nama Electricity Distribution

Chicago, June 7 – Mazoon Electricity Co. SAOC effected a group reorganization changed its name to Nama Electricity Distribution Co. SAOC, according to an announcement.

The announcement made a point of saying that the company’s $500 million trust assets due 2027 have not changed in composition.

The Oman government remains the ultimate beneficial owner of the company through the Oman Investment Authority.
