Metis Energy gets $45 million secured green loan for solar projects

Lexington, Ky., May 26 – Metis Energy Ltd. signed a $45 million syndicated senior secured green loan with DBS Bank Ltd. and United Overseas Bank Ltd., according to a press release.

Proceeds will be used to fund the expansion of wholly owned subsidiary Athena Energy Holdings Pte. Ltd.’s commercial and industrial rooftop solar projects in Vietnam and Indonesia that supply electricity to industries such as garment, shoe manufacturing and agricultural trading.

Metis has 30.15 megawatts of operating rooftop solar projects in Vietnam.

Metis Energy Ltd. is headquartered in Singapore and provides solutions to power customers and industries to reduce their carbon emission.
