Fitch affirms Carnival

Fitch Ratings said it affirmed the senior unsecured and short-term debt ratings of Carnival Corp. and Carnival plc at A- and F2, respectively.

The outlook for Carnival remains stable.

Fitch said the ratings reflect the cruise line operator's well-established ability to generate strong operating margins and free cash flow in an industry that is clearly benefiting from favorable supply-demand fundamentals and a healthy pricing environment.
