Christmas Tree Shops records $11.5 million net loss for June

Olympia, Wash., July 25 – Christmas Tree Shops, LLC reported an $11.5 million net loss for June on $26.15 million of gross income/sales, according to its monthly operating report filed Monday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

To compare, the company recorded a $4.84 million net loss for May on $23.26 million of gross income/sales.

The cash balance at the end of June was $4.45 million, up from $1.49 million at the end of May.

Middleborough, Mass.-based Christmas Tree Shops sells home goods with a specialty focus on seasonal products. The company filed bankruptcy on May 5 under Chapter 11 case number 23-10576.
