Fitch changes view on Qatari banks

Fitch Ratings said it revised the outlooks on seven Qatari banks' long-term issuer default ratings to positive from stable.

The issuer default ratings of Qatar Islamic Bank QPSC, Commercial Bank PSQC, Dukhan Bank QPSC, Doha Bank QPSC, Qatar International Islamic Bank QPSC and Ahli Bank QPSC were affirmed at A-, and Qatar National Bank QPSC's issuer default rating was affirmed at A.

Fitch said all seven banks' ratings are driven by sovereign support.

The positive outlooks reflect that on the Qatari sovereign rating, the agency said.
