Genesis Global secures another extension of exclusive plan periods

Olympia, Wash., March 20 – Genesis Global Holdco, LLC received another extension of its exclusive periods to file and solicit votes on a Chapter 11 plan, according to an order filed Wednesday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.

The company has already filed a plan, which has been modified to incorporate various settlements.

Genesis now has the exclusive right to file a plan and solicit votes until 14 days after the court enters an order granting or denying confirmation of the plan.

Genesis Global is a New York-based cryptocurrency lender. The company filed bankruptcy on Jan. 19, 2023 under Chapter 11 case number 23-10063.
