S&P rates Aguas Andinas notes A-

S&P said it assigned its A- issue-level rating to Aguas Andinas SA's senior unsecured notes of $50 million due 2037 (A$20 million and ¥5 billion).

“We rate the notes at the same level as our global scale foreign-currency issuer credit rating on the company, considering that the notes aren't structurally subordinated and rank at the same level of the company's other debt,” S&P said in a press release.

The company will use the proceeds to finance its capital expenditures.

The outlook is stable.
