Fitch gives Cardinal Health notes BBB

Fitch Ratings said it rated Cardinal Health, Inc.’s senior unsecured notes BBB.

The rating is aligned with those on Cardinal’s outstanding senior unsecured notes.

The proceeds will fund the repayment of all of Cardinal Health's 3.08% senior notes due June 15 and its 3.5% senior notes due Nov. 15 at their respective maturities with anything left to be used for general corporate purposes.

The outlook is positive.
