Moody's rates Volksbank securities Ba1

Moody’s Investors Service said it rated de Volksbank NV’s €300 million of additional tier 1 non-viability contingent capital securities Ba1 (hyb).

The agency said it usually rates non-viability securities, such as tier 1 securities, three notches below the bank’s adjusted baseline credit assessment, which is baa1.

The securities are issued as green bonds in accordance with de Volksbank's green bond framework, which follows the green bond principles of the International Capital Market Association.
