Fitch reviews Cantor Fitzgerald, BGC

Fitch Ratings said it placed Cantor Fitzgerald LP's and BGC Partners Inc.'s BBB- long-term issuer default ratings, BBB- senior debt ratings and F3 short-term issuer default ratings on rating watch negative.

Fitch said the watch reflects the potential for delayed deleveraging at Cantor and BGC following the downsized IPO by BGC's real estate brokerage and finance subsidiary Newmark Knight Frank.
