S&P gives BBB- to BGC Group

S&P said it assigned a BBB- issuer rating to BGC Group Inc. with a stable outlook.

“The rating on BGC Group Inc. reflects both its role as the newly formed top nonoperating holding company of BGC Partners Inc. (BBB-/stable/--) as well as the core importance of BGC operations to ultimate parent Cantor Fitzgerald LP,” S&P said in a press release.

The stable outlook reflects the same outlook on Cantor Fitzgerald, the agency said.
