Cantor Fitzgerald adds Hardy Manges as municipals managing director

By Tali Rackner

Norfolk, Va., April 16 - Cantor Fitzgerald & Co. appointed Hardy Manges as managing director and co-head of municipal debt capital markets, the company announced in a press release.

He will oversee municipal trading and competitive underwriting alongside co-head Jim Dolan.

The firm also hired Kevin Quinn as a managing director.

"We are delighted to welcome Hardy to the Cantor team, and I am confident that his deep market knowledge and extensive track record add great value as we continue to strengthen and grow our municipal business," CEO Shawn P. Matthews said in the release.

Manges recently acted as executive director of municipal sales and trading at Mitsubishi UFJ Securities, where he oversaw the secondary municipal trading desk. Earlier, he was managing director and head of private wealth management fixed income at Deutsche Bank, responsible for all municipal trading.

Cantor Fitzgerald is a New York-based financial services firm.
