Cantor Fitzgerald adds three hires to grow municipal sales and trading

San Diego, Jan. 16 - Cantor Fitzgerald & Co. said in a press release that it has added Frank Hammond, Kevin Conrad and Jon Dwyer to its debt capital markets municipal bond division.
Reporting to managing director and head of the municipal division Jim Dolan, the new employees will focus on growing the firm's municipal sales and trading business.
Hammond joins as a managing director and will focus on institutional sales and structured products. He joins from J.P. Morgan, where he was responsible for institutional sales, and has also held tax-auditing positions at Arthur Andersen.
Conrad will take the position of director focused on municipal bond sales. He joins from Vining Sparks, where he managed sales for the municipal bond department. Prior to that, he held senior sales roles at Griffin, Kubik, Stephens & Thompson Inc., now known as BMO Capital Markets.
Dwyer joins as vice president and will focus on maintaining client and investor relationships for the group. He joins from Stifel Nicolaus, where he managed institutional and investor relationships. He also held positions at Northeast Securities as well as Asch Dwyer Municipal Securities, where he was a founding partner.
New York-based Cantor Fitzgerald is a financial services firm.
