Canadian Solar signs €50 million credit facility with Santander

Chicago, June 24 – Canadian Solar Inc. secured a €50 million bilateral corporate facility with Banco Santander, SA, according to a press release.

The new facility is comprised of a €25 million term loan and a €25 million revolver.

The facility will be used to support the company’s growth, specifically its project development pipeline in the Europe, Middle East and Africa regions.

This is the second facility between the company and Santander over the past year.

Canadian Solar is a solar power company based in Guelph, Ont.
