WeWork reports $153.7 million net loss for January

Olympia, Wash., March 4 – WeWork Inc. reported a $153.7 million net loss for January on $89.72 million gross income/sales, according to a monthly operating report filed Friday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Jersey.

In comparison, the company reported a $5.46 million net profit for December on $97.37 million gross income/sales.

The cash balance at the end of January was $113.32 million, down from $134.05 million at the end of December.

WeWork is a New York-based provider of shared workspaces and related business services. The company filed bankruptcy on Nov. 6 under Chapter 11 case number 23-19865.
