Gulf Coast Health Care submits revised proposed findings for plan

Chicago, April 29 – Gulf Coast Health Care, LLC submitted a filing of revised proposed findings of fact, conclusions of law and an order that would confirm the debtors’ modified first amended joint Chapter 11 plan of liquidation, according to a notice filed with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

One of the changes to the plan includes a section about the litigation claimants trustee.

For those who objected to the original plan, the company will provide a notice identifying the litigation claimants trustee and attach a revised form of the litigation claimants trustee agreement and the claims procedures.

There will be an opportunity to object to all of the above which would be scheduled for hearing before the court on an expedited basis.

There is also a section that states that Dr. Robert Bondurant will not be a third-party released part under the plan.

There was work on the definition of the litigation claims cash amount to mean 37% of the unsecured claims cash amount plus the litigation claims cash contribution of $1.5 million.

Pensacola, Fla.-based Gulf Coast Health Care is a nursing home chain. The company filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy on Oct. 14 under case number 21-11336.
