CalPlant decides to move forward with liquidation

Olympia, Wash., May 15 – CalPlant I Holdco, LLC has decided to proceed with an orderly liquidation of its assets, according to a press release issued Monday afternoon.

The company plans to file a plan of liquidation with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

The company said all employees have been issued 60-day notices and were notified of the impending closure of the company.

During that 60-day period, the company will focus on a sale of its assets, in whole or in parts.

Willows, Calif.-based CalPlant manufactures sustainably sourced building products. The company filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy on Oct. 5, 2021 under case number 21-11302.
