Express Grain Terminals gets more time to file Chapter 11 plan

Olympia, Wash., Aug. 8 – Express Grain Terminals, LLC secured a short extension of its exclusive period to file a Chapter 11 plan to Aug. 15 from Aug. 8, according to an order filed with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Mississippi.

The company said it needs time to incorporate a settlement agreement into a Chapter 11 plan of reorganization.

Express Grain is also finalizing open issues regarding prior sales and transition support agreements.

Greenwood, Miss.-based Express Grain Terminals is an agricultural processing and marketing company. It filed bankruptcy on Sept. 29, 2021 under Chapter 11 case number 21-11832.
