New Issue: Chengdu Aerotropolis sells $300 million 2.8% bonds due 2024

Chicago, Sept. 27 – China’s Chengdu Aerotropolis City Development Group Co., Ltd. sold $300 million of 2.8% bonds due 2024, according to an offering document.

The bonds priced at par.

The bonds can be redeemed early for taxation reasons at par plus interest.

Hung Sing Securities Ltd., China International Capital Corp. Hong Kong Securities Ltd., BOSC International Company Ltd. and Guotai Junan Securities (Hong Kong) Ltd. are the joint global coordinators, joint lead managers and joint bookrunners.

China Zheshang Bank Co., Ltd. (Hong Kong Branch), Hua Xia Bank Co., Ltd. Hong Kong Branch, Industrial Bank Co., Ltd. Hong Kong Branch, CEB International Capital Corp. Ltd., Zhongtai International Securities (Singapore) Pte. Ltd., SPDB International Capital Ltd., JQ Securities (Hong Kong) Ltd. and CLSA Ltd. are also listed as joint lead managers and joint bookrunners.

Proceeds from the Regulation S sale will be used for project development, to repay existing debt and to supplement working capital.

The issuer is a state-owned company that was previously named Shuangliu Transportation Construction Investment Co., Ltd. and then Chengdu Shuangliu District Transportation Construction Investment Co. Ltd.
