Kingswood Senior Living sees $111,440 net operating loss for August

Olympia, Wash., Oct. 20 – Kansas City United Methodist Retirement Home, Inc., which does business as Kingswood Senior Living Community, reported a $111,440 net operating loss on $1.2 million of total operating revenue for August, according to its monthly operating report filed Tuesday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Missouri.

The net loss for August was $734,250.

The company reported $2.22 million of cash and cash equivalents as of Aug. 31.

Kingswood Senior Living Community is a Kansas City, Mo.-based owner and operator of a continuing care retirement community. The company filed bankruptcy on Aug. 18 under Chapter 11 case number 21-41049.
