New Issue: Callisto Pharmaceuticals completes $1.8 million private placement of stock

New York, Aug. 23 - Callisto Pharmaceuticals, Inc. closed a $1,813,900 private placement, the company said.
The New York-based pharmaceutical company sold 1.87 million shares at $0.97 each to some of its current shareholders.
The proceeds will be used for research and development.
Callisto develops treatments for cancer and related diseases.
