S&P rates Catholic Healthcare West, Calif., bonds A

Standard & Poor's said it assigned an A long-term rating to California Statewide Communities Development Authority's $80 million of series 2008A and 2008B uninsured fixed-rate bonds issued for Catholic Healthcare West.

In addition, S&P said it affirmed the A long-term ratings and A underlying ratings on Catholic Healthcare West's roughly $3.6 billion of outstanding bonds (various series and various issuers).

The outlook is positive.
