Moody's rates Calif. State University bonds Aa3

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned an Aa3 long-term rating to California State University's $408 million of 2008A systemwide revenue bonds.

The outlook is stable.

As the same time, Moody's said it affirmed the existing ratings on the university's prior debt. In total, the system has $3.55 billion of rated debt outstanding.
