California Department of Water Resources redeems some Central Valley revenue bonds

New York, Jan. 28 - The State of California Department of Water Resources announced the partial redemption of a total of $34.47 million of its $207.18 million of Central Valley Project - Water System revenue bonds, series U.

Affected notes included $3.38 million of 5% notes due 2009; $25,000 of 5% notes due 2009; $3.54 million of 4.3% notes due 2010; $30,000 of 5.125% notes due 2011; $3.7 million of 5.125% notes due 2011; $30,000 of 5.125% notes due 2012; $3.88 million of 5.125% notes due 2012; $4.07 million of 5.125% notes due 2013; $30,000 of 5.125% notes due 2013; $1.84 million of 4.75% notes due 2014; $4.49 million of 5.125% notes due 2015; $25,000 of 5.125% notes due 2015; $4.72 million of 5.125% notes due 2016; $25,000 of 5.125% notes due 2016; $2.09 million of 5.125% notes due 2017; $2.2 million of 5.125% notes due 2018; and $420,000 of 5% notes due 2029.

The redemption date was Dec. 1.
