AK BARS LUXEMBOURG SA: Planned dollar-denominated 10¼% notes due 2012 alongside exchange for $250 million 8¼% notes due 2010; Credit Suisse; settlement expected on Dec. 9; bank based in Kazan, Republic of Tatarstan, Russia.

GULF INVESTMENT BANK: Expected dollar-denominated bonds or sukuk offering; Barclays Capital, GIB Financial, HSBC, UBS; timing and structure to be determined.

DOMINICAN REPUBLIC: Expected benchmark dollar-denominated sovereign global bonds; Barclays Capital, Citigroup; timing and structure to be determined.

IRAN: €1 billion of global bonds; to help finance development of the South Pars field, its largest natural gas field; expected by December.
