By William Gullotti

Buffalo, N.Y., April 19 – Grunenthal GmbH said in a news release it will refinance a €200 million bridge loan put in place to partially fund its acquisition of testosterone therapy drug producer Nebido in July 2022.

The refinancing follows the sale by Grunenthal of €300 million of seven-year secured notes on Wednesday.

The company also disclosed that it had earlier extended the maturity of its €500 million revolving credit facility.

Further details regarding the revolver extension were not disclosed in the press release.

The global pharmaceutical company is based in Aachen, Germany.
