Burford Capital starts roadshow for $350 million eight-year unsecured notes, initial talk 7% area

Portland, Ore., April 4 – Burford Capital Global Finance LLC plans to market a $350 million offering of eight-year senior notes (expected ratings Ba2/BB-) on a Monday-Tuesday roadshow, according to market sources.

The deal, which was set to kick off on a Monday investor conference call, is in the market with initial guidance in the 7% area, and is set to price on Wednesday.

Jefferies & Co. is the left bookrunner. BofA Securities, Inc. is the joint bookrunner. B. Riley and Wedbush are the co-managers.

The Rule 144A and Regulation S for life notes come with three years of call protection.

Proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes including potential debt repayment.

The prospective issuer, a financial services provider to the legal market, maintains headquarters in Guernsey, New York City, Chicago and London.
