Burford talks $350 million seven-year notes to yield in 6½% area; pricing Friday

Portland, Ore., March 26 – Burford Capital Global Finance LLC talked its $350 million offering of seven-year senior notes (Ba2/BB-) to yield in the 6½% area, according to market sources.

Official talk comes inside of initial guidance in the high 6% area.

Books close at 1 p.m. ET on Friday, and the deal is set to price thereafter.

Jefferies LLC is the left bookrunner. BofA Securities Inc. is the joint bookrunner. Wedbush Morgan Securities Inc. is the co-manager.

The Rule 144A and Regulation S for life notes come with three years of call protection.

The global finance and asset management company plans to use the proceeds for general corporate purposes, including the potential debt repayment.

The prospective issuer maintains headquarters in Guernsey, New York, Chicago and London.
