Solek closes on $379 million in financing for solar projects in Chile

Chicago, May 30 – Solek Group announced it closed on $379 million in financing for a portfolio in Chile consisting of solar photovoltaic utility-scale and PMGD plants, according to a press release.

The financing includes a $178 million senior private placement, a $75 million mezzanine facility, a $55 million PMGD bridge loan, a $37 million utility-scale bridge loan, a $19 million letter-of-credit facility and a $15 million VAT line.

BNP Paribas and Natixis, New York Branch acted as placement agents, arrangers and lenders.

BCI and Scotiabank Chile acted as agents and lenders on local facilities.

White & Case and Guerrero Olivos acted respectively, as international and local legal counsels to the company.
