Advisors Disciplined Trust 785 registers International High 30 units

San Diego, Feb. 6 - Advisors Disciplined Trust 785 registered units of its International High 30 Dividend Portfolio, Series 2012-1Q, according to an S-6 amendment filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The depositor is Monument, Colo.-based Advisors Asset Management, Inc.

The trust will seek to provide above-average total return by investing in a portfolio of stocks selected using a specialized dividend-oriented strategy. The portfolio will consist of 30 stocks, three from each of 10 industry sectors, listed in the S&P ADR index. The index is based on the non-U.S. stocks comprising the S&P Global 1200 index.

The units will each have an initial offering price of $10. Each unit carries a maximum sales fee of 2.95%, which is comprised of an initial sales fee of 1%, a deferred sales fee of 1.45% and a creation and development fee of 0.5%. The sales fee may be decreased on a sliding scale to 1.4% based on the amount of the investment.

The trust's initial date of deposit will be in February.
